Here we burn wood together. Tons of Wood. This account reflects my way of doing fires. A fire contains wood, cole, flames and smoke. But what a fire means in the wider prospect of it’s rich and so far often underestimated entity, is what we will research empirically within this instagram acccount. By burning the carbon based material lignum, better known as wood, we consider the act and perception of controlled combustion (E.g. i.m.Fir.Plc.) as a dynamic closed cycle full flow iteration of organizing, transporting and ultimately burning the bespoke material as often as possible to have uncounted high quality and moreover hot times. We will preliminary, but not exclusively, focus on burning spruce, beech and oak in my fireplace, while not limiting ourself to burn whatever else we find, wherever we are up to, within the scope of this research.
